WASHINGTON — “Squad” Rep. Ilhan Omar demonstrated “countless signals of deception” in her video message to supporters asking for donations, a body language expert assessed.
Omar’s (D-Minn.) video message posted late Tuesday marked the first time she addressed the public on camera since the raid of her DC home last week and the revelation of a probe into her citizenship status by the feds.
“It’s a nervous smile, and her eyes are not smiling, so it’s not genuine,” Florida-based body language expert Lillian Glass told The Post about Omar’s appearance in the video.
“The lips curve downward; the raising [of her] eyebrows reflect that she is questioning her own words,” Glass, who has been an expert witness in federal and state courts on behavioral analysis, added.
“Her raised eyebrows also mean surprise at what has happened to her, as she did not expect this.”
In the defiant video, which was shot in the back of a car, Omar insisted that President Trump and his allies are “running scared” and insisted that “we’re not going to be intimidated,” silenced, or scared.
She urged her backers to donate $5, $10, and $20 to help fight back against the Trump administration.
The Department of Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) agency carried out the raid on Omar’s home Monday of last week after obtaining a search warrant.

I have no doubt about Omar lying pretty much all the time.
That said, I don’t put a lot of stock in an “expert” labeling every little movement as indicating deception.
