I remember the glee democrats showed when they thought Gorby got one over on Reagan. They loved the Soviet Union. I think it was Rush who coined the term “Gorbasm” to express the wet pants democrats got. Even Gorbachev knew his evil commie regime was doomed. Democrats haven’t figured it out yet.
I remember when Reagan and Gorbachev met in Iceland.

I call them “Ukraine First” because that is all they seem to care about.
This is not an apologetic. The grievance train can go back as far as anyone wants to take it. I mean part of Russia's excuse for invading Ukraine was that it was falling into NATO's sphere; putting a threat right on Russia's door step, so why shouldn't Russia help Iran, if it's in their best interests?
