He is a hard-core cross dressing leftie. United is the absolute worst when it comes to affirmative action, DEI and wokeness.
OK... show us your tax forms that demonstrates the line where you can add additional cash to the amount paid in excess of what is owed ! Likely crickets there !
LOL. I guess its not that big of a problem if you accepted a $32 million salary, Scott, is it? The next time the board votes you a salary above, let’s say, $2 million, tell them that you aren’t going to accept it. I don’t know whether to be more angry at tools like this guy or the reporters who won’t challenge him when he engages in this type of insufferable moral preening. The next time this tool has a press conference, ask him why he has not donated 80% or 90% of his compensation to charity.
How does he not understand the concept of wealth creation?
Wealth is not distributed. It is earned. Leftist morons. Virtue signaling. His guilt for getting paid so much for doing so little is showing.
“His guilt for getting paid so much for doing so little is showing.”
I think he’s aiming to get into politics as a democrat.
Getting back to the original assertion of the article, that growing wealth inequality poses a threat to American society, its opposite, socialism, doesn’t work too well equal.
Suppressing wealth inequality stifles motivation and imaginative thinking. Those things are a part of human nature and are essential for a happy country.
Didn’t he also say he wanted 50% of pilots either blacks or women.?
The very wealthy dont have incomes. Thats why they dont mind high taxes on incomes.
I’ll make it easy for you, Scott:
How to Make a Voluntary Donation to the U.S. Government
If you want to contribute money directly to the federal government, you can do so through official Treasury channels:
• Online: Go to Pay.gov and search for “Gifts to the United States” to make an electronic contribution.
• By Mail: Send a check or money order made payable to the United States Treasury with “Gift to the United States – General Fund” or note for public debt reduction written in the memo line
Make it $31 million annually. Pretty sure you can squeak by on 1 million a year !!
These people always have clever accountants.
Income? Oh, I don’t have any actual income in the strictly legal sense.
Wealth? Well, I may have a plane, a dozen cars, and three houses, but from a legal standpoint, I don’t exactly own anything. I have no wealth at all. This tax will not affect me. Suckers.

Remind me to avoid flying on Disunited.
I agree.
Something tells me that he would have a problem selling all that he has, giving it to the poor, and following after Christ.
If he wants to make the decision of giving more, fine. Give more. But he’s only giving it to a government and virtue signaling. If he were serious about helping people that don’t have his salary....you wouldn’t hear his bleating socialist voice.
Does he know he can send in whatever amount he chooses over what he owes?
Send all you want, Dumba$$.
Sure they do.
They’re put there to do as they’re told.
Like the POTATUS.
Yes, has done thar—for all new hire classes have to be at least half minority and/or women. He has been doing that for a while now.
He can lead the way.
Wealth disparity is only a problem when bitterness and envy are the driving forces of those .......”without”.
You SHOULD want more. That drives ambition and eventual success — if you have any skills at all. But, wanting more by taking from others is simply theft and communism.
Everyone at the economic bottom needs a path or two to get better. If that is not possible, the disparity can become a reasonable problem. Not gifting, lifting oneself up by own work process. It has gotta be by own (guided) efforts.
