The NFL has stopped at nothing to extend its influence overseas, but ahead of the league’s first ever game in France, it may have to contend with the French government.
The Saints reportedly left for Paris immediately after their game in New York concluded today.
Police arrested 1,800 people across the country as “violent groups clashed with officers and looted shops.”

Someone needs to speak out. How about the nation's #1 football fan in the WH or a group of congressmen? Respective governors. A player or two who'd rather stay home and count their guaranteed money while still alive. Republicans are not known for disturbing the excrement but stay home and no one will die. I'd like to see the NFL $HIT A brick over this one. Time's running out-lol.
US Department of State Issues Travel Advisory for Steelers-Saints Game in Paris Due to Safety Issues
There aren’t enough jails to hold them. They might have to use the stadium as holding centers. That would make us laugh.
You can’t make this bleep up.
In answer to Foggy Bottom’s travel warming, the NFL is issuing...
A map.
Oh, boy...

Better read the boilerplate on your tickets, folks.
The NFL once moved a San Diego game to Phoenix in a matter of days when smoke and wild fires threatened the region. No reason why they can’t move it to an east coast venue. Better to be safe than sorry but the NFL has too much riding on this international expansion stuff. When it comes to profit and player safety issues guess which one wins out? Think 18 game schedule.
> My friends an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. <
A truism that’s totally lost on those who vote Democrat.
If France banned public outings, how would they enforce it? The time for them to get tough was years ago. Now it’s either call out the army or just let everything burn.
Well heck if that’s all it takes just do it now. That should settle things down. Keep them students from peacefully protesting.
If the Saints have already caught that flight to Paris one should ask: Does the term Dunkirk mean anything to you?
Cancel the trip.
Do it for the safety of the teams. Do it today.
As much as the NFL probably would love to make some sort of political statement, the correct and practical consideration is risk to Americans.
Too much money business!
PSG x NFL Jerseys Revisit Iconic "Vuitton" Nike Design From 2006
Halftime show should be pretty good.
😂. I hear Nike has been pulled off the NYSE recently. Uber woke assclowns. I don’t believe I ever had a nike product. Darn. 😊👍🇺🇸

😡 While shopkeepers in Paris, Lyon, Marseille, Bordeaux... received absolutely NO protection from the rioters, there were at least 8 police vans to protect a single shop: Brigitte Macron’s. It’s a disgrace! #France #October17 x.com/NorbertNoguera…

Game with no fans in the seats! Otherwise, you get those bomb flares that soccer games have.
NFL is too woke to cancel the game.
Too much TV / money involved......as rktman said.
Macron? Sounds vaguely familiar. I hear monsieur macaroon hopes to have information soon on the investigation about rumors of unrest by elementary school aged students. Bon chance monsieur.
I hate to break it this guy, but he’s not helping...

This isn’t Brigitte Macron’s shop, it belongs to her nephew. And because he has the misfortune of being her nephew, his shop is regularly attacked by idiots like this “entrepreneurial dad,” hence the need to protect it. And then you play the champion of law and order...
