Abdul El-Sayed grows agitated with reporter after being pressed on family's alleged Muslim Brotherhood ties

Democratic Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed got into a tense exchange with a reporter on Wednesday as his claim about having no family connections to the Muslim Brotherhood draws scrutiny.

On "NBC Nightly News," El-Sayed was pressed about social media posts made by his half-sister Eman Abdelhadi, alleging their mother was an active member of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt during the 1970s after he denied there were any family connections to the controversial Islamist group during an interview with NBC's Kristen Welker on Sunday's "Meet the Press."

"Can you just explain it?" anchor Tom Llamas asked after reading some of Abdelhadi's posts.

"It's funny to me," El-Sayed responded. "I was born in 1984 down the street in Rochester Hills. I was raised here in Michigan, went to the University of Michigan, rebuilt the health department in this city, led the health department in this county — and you want to ask me about what's happening in Egypt in 1970? Are you serious?"

"I get it, but you were asked a question, and you gave an answer," Llamas responded.

"I have no ties, we have no ties," El-Sayed doubled down.

The Democratic hopeful told Llamas he hadn't had conversations with his mother about her alleged Muslim Brotherhood activity and accused the anchor of using "hearsay evidence from a tweet."

"That's just not serious," El-Sayed said.

"But you've also gone after the president for truthfulness and when people ask you a question, do you expect the truth?" Llamas then asked.

"Are you insinuating that somehow I was lying?" El-Sayed fired back.

"I don't know, that's why I'm asking," Llamas responded.

This is not the time for Abdul to be clammin' up about his terrorist ties. The DNC's Hamas wing is not amused.

Just the suggestion that Abdul’s got M/B ties is hurting him bigtime.

The latest bad news for him is that his numbers
are stagnating....at a time when he needs to surge.

“I’m not responsible for what my relatives say or do!”

Perhaps not, but you live in that echo chamber, and cannot help but to pick up the vibes and the general approval of their opinions.

“This is not the time for Abdul to be clammin’ up about his terrorist ties.”

He has no other choice than “no comment.” He’s caught with his hand in the cookie jar. But to be honest, liberals, to include terrorist supporters, don’t care.

The worldwide Muslim population is estimated to be around 2 billion people and is strongly represented in over 70 countries.

Information on the group is here:

https://www.congress.gov/event/115th-congress/house-event/108532/text

Considering the migration of muslims into the US tht spells support for or justification of violence against civilians is low in many countries but higher in specific conflict-affected or politically tense regions, it can only grow in its use of violence and unlawful harm.

For example, Pew polls found that roughly 14% of Muslims across surveyed nations said violence against civilians was “often” or “sometimes” justified, with higher percentages in specific nations. In the US the average of muslims in the country amounts to roughly 5 million people. That equates to roughly 700,000 active believers of violence. I don’t like the numbers while walking on a fine line to keep them from using their lack of intelligence as a weapon againse innocents. And they are notorious for that anyway.

Why is this race even close? Was everyone in Michigan born after 2001, do not read, and have no idea of the contempt Islamic tribalists posing as Westerners have for Westerners and the wreckage they caused.
