A Southwest flight attendant died by suicide after her body was found beside a dumpster outside a four-star Hawaii hotel — while her family suspected foul play.
Jenny Lupton, 50, died of multiple injuries after falling from the 24th floor of the Hilton Hawaiian Village on Waikiki Beach, about 10 miles from Daniel K. Inouye International Airport, the Honolulu Medical Examiner’s Office said Wednesday, according to the Honolulu Star-Advertiser.
Lupton, an Oklahoma native and the mother of a 15-year-old son, was staying at the hotel during a layover while working for the Texas-based airline.

Police said their investigation into Lupton’s death remains open despite the medical examiner’s ruling.
“We strongly believe that she didn’t do this intentionally, and so that leads us to think it was either some kind of freak accident or someone harmed her,” her grieving sister, Tresa Lupton, told KFOR in August.
Lupton said her sister seemed to be enjoying the layover and kept her updated on her stay through text messages.
“She just went out with one of her flight attendant friends, and they danced and had a good time,” she said.
“She had just gotten a tattoo hours before this happened, and she messaged me. She said that when she gets back, she’s going to have it colored in because it was just the outline.”

I dunno man. I think it was just an accident.
A week or so ago a co-ed fell out of an 8th floor apartment window during horseplay. Fortunately she lived.
Anecdotally, almost all the windows in Daytona hotels and motels have been sealed off for years now because drunk college students on spring break kept falling out
of them or off the balconies.
She was 50. She WAS one of the stews of yore. Very attractive, nice legs (although they probably don't belong on the console).
She also looks like she was a fun girl to be around.
I don’t think I’ve ever read a story about someone who just fell from a hotel balcony accidentally. Its almost impossible. In fact, hotels make it impossible to fall accidentally. You either jump or are thrown off the balcony.

Had the same experience. Vitriolic hatred.
I was there as a kid and got the crap beat out of me at school multiple times. Once just randomly jumped by a whole crew. Once because a local girl told her friend I was “cute and smart” and the native guys didn’t like that.
Only reluctantly went with Mrs. MWT as an adult. They were rude and went out of their way to screw you over, even at the Four Seasons.
