Donald Trump Jr.’s ex-fiancée Kimberly Guilfoyle begged a major MAGA donor to pay her $100,000 credit card bill days before her confirmation hearing to be ambassador to Greece, stunning text messages show.
“Honey please I need you to get this done for me today,” the 57-year-old ex-Fox News host implored former Kentucky congressional candidate Eric Deters in a July 3, 2025, Signal message reported by The Wall Street Journal.
Guilfoyle followed that up with a praying hands emoji and a PDF with bill payment instructions from the credit card giant.
“You could just send it here,” she told Deters. “It won’t show up anywhere if you wire money to American Express that’s all that will show. Please.”
Deters, 63, had promised Guilfoyle up to $1 million if she helped him get his legal and tax issues in front of top officials in the Trump administration — but he balked at her six-figure request.
“Your needing $100,000 urgent [sic] unfortunately is not going to work,” he reportedly replied. “I can’t do this without getting a divorce.”
Guilfoyle persisted, according to the Journal, telling him: “I’ve been calling you for over a week straight. You could be here meeting with [then-IRS Commissioner] Billy Long.”
Deters ultimately declined to send the money, despite Guilfoyle promising him that if he did, she would “be your Trump ride or die, forever and ever.”
“She never came through on anything,” he groused to the Journal.
Six days later, Guilfoyle appeared before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and she was ultimately confirmed 51-47 on Sept. 18.

Is that a crime?
Never doubted she was high maintenance
That’s chutzpah!
Have to wonder if she would have simply ghosted him if he’d come through and paid her $100k bill. I can see someone like her telling him, “Sorry, Charlie. You complain, and I’ll ruin you by revealing you offered me $1 mil in pay-for-play access to Trump/IRS.”
Is that a crime?
Not sure .. at the very least she should be removed as Amb to Greece.
What a grifting mooch.
Is Newsome still paying alimony?
Did she get her ways from Newsom, or did he get his ways from her?
Itemized record shows a lot of that was for lip gloss. 💋
You get more with honey than with vinegar. 🍯
Pay for play, right?
At the very least, highly unethical. She should be removed.
With that attitude, she should have put in for ambassador to Ukraine or Russia. /s
Well, she never misses a chance to screw a Trump.
i figured they shipped her off to Greece to make up for being dumped by Don Jr. Can’t keep her out of the spotlight can they?
This family is one for the ages.
She always reminded me of a high price escort.
Guessing that the ambassadorship was to get her as far away from the Trump family as possible. Maybe some Greek shipping magnate will take her in hand.
Was she wrong? Should she not have done that?
Wow, it took over 12 years for the Media to determine the authenticity of Hunter’s Text messages and his demands from Foreign countries. They still claim the facts are murky. Even when they had willing witnesses and participants, they wouldn’t go with the story.
I would not be surprised at that kind of opportunistic grift from anyone who goes from sleeping with Gavin Newsom to sleeping with Donald Trump, Jr.
Reminds me of the question can a woman make you a millionaire? Yes, but only if you’re a billionaire.
