I think what you did is fine (I actually like seeing it) but BipolarBob also has a point.
I don’t mind seeing these AI summaries, but they should be labeled as such since it might be considered a bowdlerization of the original.
It is just an issue of transparency. There is so much AI slop out there on the Internet, that it is no longer just an onerous chore, we are approaching a point where it is getting impossible to separate the truth-wheat from the false-chaff.
I think summarization of a published article is a good use of AI technology...but without the characterization by the person posting it, there is room for misunderstanding.
