Every year the presidential family displays an adorned Christmas Tree in the White House Blue Room. This years tree is coming from a small village in Wisconsin, with a population of only 426.
Silent Night Evergreens in Endeavor won last year's Christmas Tree National Competition, earning its spot in the Blue Room this holiday season.
"By winning the National Christmas tree contest that has us eligible to present the tree to the Trump family and The White House" said Silent Night Evergreens owner, David Chapman.
This isn't the first time the farm has earned this honor.
"Some of my first memories were going to meet President Reagan. My grandfather won in 1988. So I was, you know, a little kid. I think I was seven at the time when we went there. And yeah, I got to see President Reagan take off in a helicopter from the front lawn of the the white House. So that was a pretty cool memory," Chapman said.
One of their trees has also donned the White House during the Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and the first Donald Trump administrations.
The tree will be arriving in the nation's capital on November 20, with the Chapman family joining a few days later.

So am I! I love how she decorates.
As usual, the Enemy Media will be ruthlessly CRUEL to her.
But they wouldn’t know CLASS if it bit them in the...shoulder? LOL!
Her work is always stunning.
VERY cool!!
Inspect it for lice.
The White House Historical Association’s tally of Blue Room trees by state since 1961 shows the leading states are North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Washington.
Idaho has not supplied a Blue Room Christmas Tree. 😢
But Idaho HAS supplied the separate U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree (the large tree on the Capitol’s West Lawn, often called the People’s Tree):
• 2003: a 65-foot Engelmann spruce from the Boise National Forest
• 2016: an Engelmann spruce from the Payette National Forest near McCall
• 2026: an 80-foot grand fir from the Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests (Salmon River Ranger District), scheduled to be harvested in late October and displayed this holiday season
Alright!!
A cheddar fir!
I had the privilege of walking with him on the University of Northern Colorado campus, when he was running for Senate.
Yeah, he was a Democrat, but switched to Republican.
Okay, that's enough. (/thread hijack)
Yep.
Yup.
Love this tree!
For several years, we cut down our own tree in Ohio. What a great tradition!
Then one year I discovered that the reason I’m usually sick at Christmas is because I’m allergic to the mold that often grows on evergreens.
Well, even though I don’t like artificial Christmas trees, my health comes first. It’s a big expense at the beginning, but pays for itself after just a few short years.
Still, I loved cutting down our own tree. It was a wonderful time in our lives.
I can’t wait to see what Melania does with this one! 😍

The tradition of a placing a decorated tree in the White House began in 1889 on Christmas morning during the Presidency of Benjamin Harrison. The President's grandchildren, young Benjamin and Mary McKee, led the Harrison household into the second floor Oval Room to take a look at the first White House Christmas tree, which was lit with candles.
Filled stockings hung from the mantel, and presents, candy and nuts were distributed to family and staff. President Harrison gave turkeys and gloves to his employees, and he received a silver-dollar-shaped picture holder from his daughter, Mame Harrison McKee.
What began as a family gathering has become a national tradition. Over the years, the White House Christmas tree has reflected both the times and the tastes of the First Family. First Lady Frances Cleveland created a "technology savvy" tree in 1895 when she hung electric lights on the White House tree.
First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy began the tradition of Christmas Tree themes when she decorated the 1961 Christmas tree in toy trimmings from the Nutcracker Suite ballet by Tchaikovsky.
Today, the First Lady selects a theme and taps the talents of American artisans, who give life to the idea. Laura Bush chose "Home for the Holidays" for the 2001 theme, which features replicas of the family homes of the nation's Presidents.
