WASHINGTON — The Justice Department announced charges Wednesday against 10 foreign nationals accused of illegally registering to vote and then casting ballots in Minnesota.
Attorney General Todd Blanche told reporters that illegal aliens from Brazil, Ghana and Liberia falsely claimed US citizenship to vote in the 2022 midterm elections, the 2024 elections and some primary elections earlier this year.
“Voter fraud erodes the public’s trust in our electoral system, and it’s vital to our democratic process that we do everything that we can to restore that trust,” Blanche said.
“The most basic way the Department of Justice can accomplish this restoration of trust is by working to make sure the only people voting in an election in the United States are American citizens who are eligible to vote.”
The defendants, all of whom are lawful permanent residents, include Liberian nationals Bhator Konah Bryant, 61, Alan Barbu Kargbo, 48, and Chis Adam Pettiquoi, 43; Lithuanian national Edvile Vaidoto Edmunds, 59; Ghanaian national Joshua Frederick Kofi Edzie, 63; German national Paul Kras, 78; Bosnian national Fadil Rasim Ozegovic, 58; Brazilian national Aparecido Donizetti Padovan, 62; Canadian national Christian Liam Schenk, 47; South African national Hester Sophia Weihmann, 69.
Edmunds and Kras are each charged with one count of voting by alien and face up to one year in prison. Bryant has been charged with one count of falsely claiming citizenship to register to vote and could receive up to five years in prison, while the remaining defendants are charged with both offenses.
More than 90 people have been formally accused of some form of voter fraud since President Trump returned to the White House, with officials noting that the Biden administration brought just 13 similar cases during its four years in office.

In Minnesotastan, what are the odds they will be prosecuted?
Some leftist judge will order them freed.
10 people isn’t much - but it sends a very loud message to woke-Democrat commissioners in blue counties.
WE WILL BE WATCHING NOV. 3
Minnesota In the news yet again!
What stage are we in with regards to the media. Since we’ve now proven that it DOES in fact happen, have to moved on to “Yeah it happens but not enough to sway an election”, or have we skipped right to “Yes they vote, and it’s a GOOD thing!”?
This is surely an odd thing to be happening in of all places...Minnesota??? Unbelievable. Yeah, you bet...unbelievable.
