And I was a BIG baseball fan.
Cubs have been no-hit through 6.
Someone already said “I don’t care about baseball”, so I can’t say, “in before”. But King was masterful; and the Padres are hot.
Manny Machado did a great acting job to try and make an infield hit look like an error. The scorer wasn’t fooled, since Nico Hoerner would have beaten it out anyway. So no-hitter gone.
So close.
I like the Padres to beat the Dodgers.
I used to care about baseball - I can recite history and statistics to you.
But our professional athletes cured me of it - just like the NFL US-disrepecting thugs cured a lot of us of football.
