FR hasn't really changed much over the decades I've been on it. And I know many people have supported it directly financially (I have in the past as well).
I'd love to see them use some of that money to improve the service. I'm not knocking them for wanting to make a profit on what they developed, but complacency leads to death. As our crowd gets older we need newer users to join to keep the community growing.
So what features would you love to see FB add that you'd be willing to donate to get?

Like the idea. Unlike some, there are folks on this thread, like myself, that are interested in learning something for betterment.
I can see someone posting an article that may be old, but not breaking news. Give me a thought, give me places you formed it, and don’t waste the readers time having to sort out two or three posts on the same topic, many times using the same web site. Maybe they could do that but it would involve creating discourse from more than one poster at a time. Kind of like creating its own debate on the issue with different posters in a grouping. Then the readers could get the information based upon co-local entries and the reader can sort out the thoughts in one entry. It would also force the trolls and closet liberals to substance their entry in material rather than their agenda.

I, like many, just stopped posting articles out of frustration with the mods.
It works fine.
At least, it has never failed me.
There are free sites with outstanding discussion over a variety of topics that allow pics, videos and gifs with other engaging attributes such as likes/dislikes.
The topics that are hot stay on the front page until other hot topics emerge. The embed and link features are very easy as well.

One of mine has been the white background...big monitor/tv, hard on the eyes, and taxes backlighting on your set (also uses more electricity). “Dark Reader” add-on for firefox works well for that.
