FR hasn't really changed much over the decades I've been on it. And I know many people have supported it directly financially (I have in the past as well).
I'd love to see them use some of that money to improve the service. I'm not knocking them for wanting to make a profit on what they developed, but complacency leads to death. As our crowd gets older we need newer users to join to keep the community growing.
So what features would you love to see FB add that you'd be willing to donate to get?

Faster speed. FR goes down too much.
And tell them what? Leave the modern platform for an outdated model that will remind you of the 1990s/early 2000s of internet forums?
The uniqueness is that we use words and ideas mostly. Pictures have a role but old school is thinking skills and writing skills.

You can't see it now (page says 404) but they used to have a breakdown where the money went. I think the majority went to "admin". If I remember right it was around 14k a month.

I would like to see a better overseeing of the entries. We have religious posts on political boards all the time and many times repeats of posts on the same topic with the same information being displayed, sometimes by the same poster.

I’ve been counting the # of new posts between the hours of 10 pm PST and 6am. Been doing it for awhile now. I was used to counting 40+ every morning. Last night it was 24. A trend.

One nice thing about FR is that it is open to those who wish to view its contents without requiring people to register. Obviously, posting requires registration, as well it should be.
Most of us lurked here for a while before registering while we learned (or leared) what it was all about.
A “like” button. Don’t go too far with photos. This is a thinking man’s site. Other sites brawl with pictures, we do it with words. It’s like we’re Waffle House and the others are IHOP. You get the same thing, but if you come here, you better know how to throw hands!!!
