She’s back on the campaign trail – and some Democrats wish she’d go back to Brentwood.
Former Vice President Kamala Harris hasn’t yet ditched her reputation for clumsy answers while stumping for controversial US Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed in Michigan this week to try to help shore up vulnerabilities with black voters.
More Harris rallies are planned for Sen. Jon Ossoff (D-Ga.) in Georgia and Nevada gubernatorial Aaron Ford, who is the state AG — but some Democrats are already saying no thanks.
Adam Hamilton, the megachurch pastor who is the Democrats’ Senate candidate in Kansas, flat-out rejected the idea of a Harris visit.
“No offense to her. But she would not be a help to me. We are a different kind of Democrat . . . I would say please do not come to my state. I do not need you here. You would actually hurt me,” he flatly told NBC.
“It’s good to go to the places where candidates think it will help. But of the possible 2028 candidates, she’s been turned down a lot,” a Dem working on midterm races told The Post.
“I wouldn’t say she’s a top surrogate. Her polling is atrocious,” said a Republican source, who predicted the few states where she might be of use are Georgia, North Carolina and Mississippi.
“She’s still giving a word salad answer for everything she’s asked . . . She is probably helpful with African American turnout and that’s probably all she helps with,” said the source.
At her event at a maternal and infant health center in Detroit Tuesday, her confounding comment — about what “black people and black birthing people need in order to move themselves forward” – drew swift ridicule.

Not only is there the word salad but she shows a grade school level of understanding of complex issues. Shows she is stupid as well as misguided. Looks around after giggling or giving a big smile to see is that got her past not knowing the right answers.
Technology: You know, we don’t use file cabinets and folders. Now all our stuff is up there in the sky (looks upward and points) and up there is the Cloud which is processing all our work and keeping records for us up there.
