It's 2026 and I think I've found the most woke video to ever exist.
This lady discovered that cotton fields still exist, and obviously the existence of this crop is racist towards black Americans.
"Okay, when I didn't think they did cotton fields anymore. Y'all check this out. Y'all see that? There is literally a cotton field. Do y'all see that? Isn't that crazy?"
How in the world do people like this exist?

LOL. The irony. My stepfather picked cotton as a child and he was as white as a ghost. Poor whites picked cotton in the South in the 30s and 40s just like poor blacks did.

Last time I saw blacks picking cotton was in 1968 in central Arkansas. Out West in Texas they used mechanical pickers. 2023, on a trip to Tennessee I noticed cotton was now being harvested just like a round bale of hay.
I didn’t know that. I’m surprised Cottonelle has not been forced to stop using the recycled cotton for that very reason. Increased plumbing liability.

Like you, except I lived in the San Juaquin Valley in California, we had cotton around us too back in the 1950’s. They didn’t have the mechanical capacity they do now to pick but I never saw a black in the fields either. And it was a mix of many different people. Many of the same people picked the citris, melons, grapes, oranges, plums and lemons. And none of them sang any songs either. I figured for her that was next.

A friend of mine his family had a tobacco farm outside of New Bern. I helped him for a week cropping. There is not anything more miserable. LOL!
You know those clothes most people wear.....everything from socks to jeans to T-shirts....what do you think they’re made of?
