Newly released law enforcement bodycam footage obtained by the California Post reveals a chaotic 4:20 a.m. confrontation outside Miami’s notorious 24-hour strip club and nightclub E11EVEN, where officers were forced to draw a taser directly at WNBA player Paige Bueckers.
The wild incident, which occurred on March 5th following a championship party, resulted in the arrest of Bueckers and Dallas Wings teammate Arike Ogunbowale.
According to police affidavits, Ogunbowale allegedly struck a nightclub worker in the face with a closed fist before officers intervened to restore order.
When Miami police officers arrived on the scene to regain control of the rowdy crowd, video footage shows a tense standoff. As officers moved in to detain Ogunbowale, sports elite and onlookers swarmed the arresting officers. ADVERTISEMENT (HIDE THIS AD)
When Bueckers and fellow player Jackie Young stepped into the officer’s path, attempting to shield Ogunbowale, an officer was forced to unholster his Taser, pointing the less-lethal weapon directly at Young’s chest and then squarely at Bueckers’ face while repeatedly ordering the crowd to “Back up!”
Rather than complying with standard law enforcement commands, members of the entourage threw temper tantrums at the police for simply doing their jobs. Unrivaled host Maria Clifton was captured on video screaming at the arresting officer:
“Stop it. Do not put handcuffs on her. Are you f*ing kidding me? She’s a champion. Get off her, she did nothing!”

As I understand it the WNBA gets partial financial support from the NBA.
Just another case of a business full of minorities that has to have help because it can’t support itself and stand on it’s own two feet.
So common now it’s almost cliché.
Are they trying to make the WNBA relevant by bringing old-school 1990s NBA off-court behavior to the WNBA? The first thing to come to mind is the classic conversation between Charles Barkley and Shaq that started off with Barkley saying “I think I was arrested four times for hitting fans.” and Shaw replying “No, it was five times and I was there for one where you threw a fan through the front window of a bar.” Of course, Charles gets a pass for all his old bar fights. Not so sure Paige is going to earn that.

Think about the entitlement mentality at play here.
A lot of blacks (and not just black athletes) think rules and laws don’t apply to them.
Nobody should question anything they do and everything should be free.
Amazingly, we haven’t seen this reported in the local Miami media. Huh.
Somehow the local Miami media *HAS* been able to find news about a WNBA statue and some rookie setting a scoring record, none of which happened in Miami... But a LOCAL event involving a WNBA employee isn’t reported.
Curious.

Well, to be fair the incident happened in March, the police body came footage is what’s new.
But I’m sure the Miami news has more important things to report on like anything that throws shade on Republicans or President Trump.
Imagine that.
Apparently, someone owned that, and it had to be removed. They could have linked to it, I would assume.
