WASHINGTON (AP) — Republican Sen. John Curtis of Utah is calling on the Senate Judiciary Committee to investigate whether Donald Trump Jr. used his proximity to the presidency for financial benefit, after his recent wedding party was partially bankrolled by a Russian oligarch.
In a letter sent Tuesday, Curtis called on the committee to subpoena Trump Jr. over his business dealings, relationships with foreign individuals and entities, gifts or other benefits he has received and any instances in which his relationship to President Donald Trump, a Republican, “was invoked or understood to provide value.” Curtis called for the same scrutiny of Hunter Biden, the son of former President Joe Biden, a Democrat.
“The country should not have to accept one standard for the family of a Republican president and another for the family of a Democratic president,” Curtis wrote in the letter addressed to GOP Sen. Chuck Grassley of Iowa, chairman of the committee, and Sen. Dick Durbin of Illinois, the top Democrat on the panel.

Unless you are a secret RINO or anti-Trumper, there is no reason as a Senator to make a huge splash and call for a probe by a Senate Committee. Do your homework through regular Senate back-channels and find out what you need to know.
Don’t worry, the commieDems in the Senate will call for a probe soon enough if there is a hint of wrongdoing.
Young newlyweds already face enough challenges as they work to establish themselves, achieve financial stability, purchase a starter home, and eventually raise a family.
So, as Donald Trump Jr. celebrates his wedding, the last thing they need is a United States senator inserting himself into the occasion while they sit around the breakfast table worrying about how they are going to pay the electric bill and debating which flavor of Top Ramen they can afford for dinner.
This is just a HINT of what Trump has in store for him if the Democrats take the Congress. The RINO party is drooling to join in the “Get Trump” wave.
That might make sense except Don Jr. already has five kids from his first wife and the guy is quite wealthy—so ramen is probably not going to be on the menu.
This is why Don Jr was stupid to even allow this..seriously why even have someone else pay for his wedding, why, was he lacking money and especially ANYONE associated with Russia he knew this would become an issue

Or, Don Jr could just pay for his own wedding, and not take $100K from a sleazy Russian guy who is friends with Putin, who we are in the middle of a proxy war with in the Ukraine. I mean, WTF? The whole thing looks sleazy and Don Jr should have better judgment. No wonder poor Melania distanced herself from the whole affair. This is the kind of thing that is a major turnoff to independent voters. Total unforced error on DJ’s part.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Trump makes his kids make their own way in the world. Meaning, they are not rich.

Trump himself did NOT go to the wedding, I remember the media making a big stink about it like “How could he not go to his sons wedding” thank God he didnt. Seriously, Don Jr is no fool, he’s been through this before, in Trumps first term, and that was NOT his fault but this, this is straight up stupidity
