I’ve had a couple h1b employees. They started off as employees in their country of origin (where we were building a plant) then kind of accidentally ended up as employees in the states. All but one immediately applied for citizenship and that one had family constraints that required him to eventual go back home. He’s now the customer in his home country because he runs the plant we built.
That’s what H1B is for; not to replace Americans. It’s very abused.
I would be kinda nice if Trump and the Congress took this pledge.
