Disney+ has revised its Subscriber Agreement to explicitly permit advertising before and after movies and shows across every subscription plan, including the ad-free Premium tier that customers pay a premium specifically to avoid commercials.
According to the updated terms, which Disney began emailing to subscribers and requiring them to accept via an on-screen prompt, all plans “may include limited advertising content, ads before or after content playback, clips, and trailers for Disney content, products, and services, as well as branded or sponsored content.”
Disney describes the update as a “clarification” of existing language rather than an entirely new policy, and the company has stressed that ad interruptions during a movie or series itself remain exclusive to the cheapest “Standard with Ads” tier — content in the Standard and Premium libraries will still play without commercial breaks in the middle.

Microsoft has created a new market position which destroys the old “informed consumer” theory.
Make the “terms and conditions” of a sale of a highly desired product completely changable at any time, without an informed consent.
This is madness. Most consumers don’t believe the “terms and conditions” mean what they plainly say, if you read the fine print.
Entire industries are working hard to bring this model into their orbit. For example, John Deer will not allow you to work on their machines without their consent - claiming the software is their own and need never be disclosed to the customer. It is a trap, because the companies can deliver great products, kind of like a drug dealer, then keep increasing price after people are “hooked”.
Just dropped Hulu live +. This was part of the reason. I paid the premium for no ads and were getting them anyway. On top of that it wouldn’t record half the shows I set up to record.
So what’s the subscription for?

Or combine the Virtual Private Network with a Torrenting application and get movies, television shows, books and video games from a torrent site (rhymes with Birate Pay). Scan all downloads with a good antivirus/anti-malware program and never abuse the set-up for personal profit. Because that would be actual piracy.
As for ad-blocking I've been using uBlock Origin on Firefox so long I sometimes wonder why there's large spaces in some website's articles, then go "oh yeah - cool". That one also posts the number of ad kills in it's tiny control bar icon.
Life's too short and valuable to let REAL pirates steal our time and attention for the sake of their enrichment. Poor Greedy Mouse should have considered that before losing parents' trust and park revenues by trading wholesomeness for 'wokeness'.
Remember in the early days of Cable TV, when the selling point was “No Commercials”. Remind me how long that lasted.

And I remember not too long ago when “Included with Amazon Prime membership” meant no commercials.
Soon they will be beaming commercials directly into our brains, 24/7
