Some bros thought they could get away with $250,000 in fried chicken, but ended up giving us all a great story about how stereotypes are extremely on point.
According to authorities, officers rolled up on the group as they were transferring pallets of poultry from an 18-wheeler in the back parking lot of the Economy Inn in Memphis.
The suspects, as you might imagine, promptly fled the scene. All 13 were eventually caught.
Police recovered three handguns, about $110,000 worth of the stolen poultry, and, for good measure, some cocaine and fentanyl.
We're not sure whether this chicken was meant for the family's Popeyes restaurant, the cookout, or the black market.

Anyone that names their child Quantrivious isn’t thinking much about their long-term career. Give them a normal name and tell them to look and act respectable. If they do that, I have no problem with them. I expect the same a white people too.
My black god mother Virginia made the best fried chicken, corn bread, chitlings and ox tail soup in all of da bronx! Never stole any of the ingredients though,-)

That is a lot of chicken. They should have stolen the semi and trailer full of chicken so they would have a large cold place to keep their tons of fried chicken good until they pawned it off.
Selling $250,000 stolen fried chicken can not be easy.
