Carrot Top is hospitalized in Las Vegas after an alleged suicide attempt ... TMZ has learned.
Sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ ... the comedian and longtime Las Vegas performer, whose real name is Scott Thompson, attempted suicide on Friday in the Vegas area and was rushed to a local hospital.
His Friday night show at the Luxor was canceled as a result.
CT's rep Jami Schlicher tells TMZ ... "Mr. Thompson is recovering in the hospital and is receiving the care and support he needs. His family and those closest to him are deeply grateful for the concern, prayers and respectfully ask for privacy."

I’m not surprised. My husband and I went to one of his shows years ago having no idea what we were getting into. Such a disgusting, nasty show. We walked out after about 15 minutes.

A friend of mine is a comedian. He tells a story about being in Vegas hanging out with Carrot Top. At some point Carrot offers to take him to one of the legal brothels and pay for him to have sex with one of the girls, but only if he can watch.
