The first Formula 3 feature race of the weekend begin with a multi-car pileup at the Madring. Luckily, every driver involved in the incident is OK. This weekend, the final weekend of the Formula 3 championship ends with two feature races instead of just one.

Immediately on the first lap, the red flag was waved after multiple incidents happened simultaneously at the narrow track. First, two Van Amersfoort Racing cars, driven by Enzo Deligny and Bruno del Pino, came together at Turn 7.

Meanwhile, in the background, Maciej Gladysz's ART Grand Prix car also went airborne, as he could not slow down in time after the rest of the pack reacted to the earlier incident ahead.

Madrid has the Sprint and Features on Saturday, which will be classified as Madrid. The second Feature Race is the last race of F3 2026, and will be the Bahrain Feature. The Bahrain Sprint race was cancelled.

Winner of F3 in theory gets to F2 but no guarantees.

Sponsors in the US don't want to touch F1 because of one thing: media deal.

Better disclosure than most, but ‘no thanks’.

In several separate instances earlier in the week the F1 press noted that this circuit a “car-killer.”

At the end of qualifying earlier today, Max Verstappen said overtaking in tomorrow’s F1 race will be rarer than hobbyhorse turds because circuit designer Jarno Zaffelli has not for the better part bothered to separate the braking zones from the turns, and cars with such a hefty rearward weight bias do not like to be braked and turned at the same time.

I need to find a bookie who’ll give odds on how many red flags there’ll be in the race.

"We should build this more aerodynamic."
