Zohran Mamdani and former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani were seen shaking hands outside of the National 9/11 Memorial & Museum today following a tense public spat about Ground Zero air quality.
The former and current New York City mayors came to blows after Giuliani claimed it 'offended' him that Mamdani, the city's first Muslim mayor, would attend the 25th anniversary memorial service for lives lost in the terror attacks.

Of all the people who deserve to be celebrated at the 9-11 memorial, Rudy Giuliani is the man who has given his life to the cause of liberty under law, and without complaint given how he’s been mistreated since the 2020 election.

Mamdani and his wife love this day, the hole in NYC, and that they are now in charge of NYC.
This is so emblematic of how New York City has changed over the past 25 years. When Giuliani was mayor, New York City was a city that functioned and that people viewed, for the most part, positively. People wanted to go on vacation there. It was growing and vibrant. I lived downtown and felt safe walking in most areas at any time of day or night including taking the subway. So when 9-11 happened, the country rallied around the city. Today, the city has gone bats__t crazy not just with Liberalism but with Communism. America-hating Communism. So much so that they elected someone who thinks 9-11 was justified to be mayor of the city that 9-11 happened to. Quite a change. America’s Mayor to America-Hating Mayor.
