The jury foreperson in Lindsay Clancy’s high-stakes triple murder trial detailed just how close the panel was to finding the killer mom not guilty by reason of insanity until one “arrogant” male holdout juror blocked the verdict.
“He admitted he had reasonable doubt after we watched the video of the interview,” the female juror told NBC 10 Boston in an interview with two other women jury members.
“I started filling out forms, I was so excited,” the woman said.
“There were three forms I had to fill out and I started filling them out, I wrote my signature on each one but then he said, ‘But I’m still not going to say she’s not guilty by reason of insanity.’”
One of the three was named Paula and is a former government contractor. Another, Kelly, is a chef in Plymouth, and the foreperson, Ronnie, is a retired fifth-grade special needs teacher.
The jurors called the holdout “arrogant” for refusing to go along with the rest.
One of the jurors told the outlet that the “prosecution didn’t show enough compassion.”
“I just found it to be harsh — very, very harsh,” she said.
“The fact that they had no character witnesses in regards to Lindsay being a bad mother … I found it to be biased.”
The foreperson said all the witnesses and evidence “proved that she loved her children … so she had to have snapped.”
The trio said they found Reddington to be “entertaining,” “arrogant,” “compassionate” and “funny.”

Boy...what a difference 250 years makes...I wonder what the Pilgrims and the Puritans would think of the Massachusetts Colony now?
If she loved her children, and yet murdered them, what would she have done, if she hated them?
Painting....
Not about a jury but my late mother in law, (a resolute Reagan hater and closet man hater. We couldn’t get along.) was a teacher’s union representative in the public school district.
A funny ploy of hers was when the all male opposition was smoking at the negotiations she got a vote passed for no smoking there.
The men were so nervous and impatient and pacing around if the talks went on too long that they finally gave up on several issues to get outside to smoke again.

You know who else did that? Adolf Hitler.
When Hitler invited then Austrian Chancellor, Kurt Schuschnigg to Berchtesgaden, to demand he allow Nazis in his government, he forbade Schuschnigg from smoking on the premises, knowing it would put Hitler at an advantage, if he denied him.
Wow. Apropos and clever. A great addition to this discussion.
Never heard that. Interesting.
On multiple levels. Women have actually become everything they’ve falsely claimed “The Patriarchy” was.
That says it all....these women are crazy evil.
But these AWFL bitches in assylums.
“prosecution didn’t show enough compassion.”
This is the Babylon Bee, right?
“Nobody should assign ‘blame’ to someone who believed she was guilty or to those that thought innocent.”
Assigning blame is to be expected. But you know that the demonic harpies are so unhinged that they will make sure this one man’s life will be a living hell forever. I hope he has the sense to take his family and go into hiding. If he were to be murdered, it would not surprise me in the least.
But he had the hardest time getting over the fact that Lindsay viciously killed her children,”
And thank God at least one person felt that way. We are so screwed.
Perhaps the "jurors" would have had a different opinion if the rotting bodies of the children were placed in the jury room.
Would someone please post the photo of the jury foreperson/woman/man. If I knew how to do it, I would.
I do not know the procedure in MA, but the Judge picked that person to be the foreman. In most other states, the jury picks its own foreperson.
I hope the next jury gets it right.
“this: One day I said: “Why is it the voice you hear always says to leave work and go home and never tells you to work harder and keep at it until you finish your day’s work?”
Ok.
What did she say?!!! 😂
Isn't that a description of the vast majority of marital arguments?
Thank god there was one Giga Chad on that jury to prevent her from literally getting away with murder. Its especially gratifying that he stood up to all the Karens who tried to bully him.
