Lindsay Clancy jury was ready to find her not guilty of murder — until one ‘arrogant’ man refused to agree, jurors reveal: ‘I was so excited’

The jury foreperson in Lindsay Clancy’s high-stakes triple murder trial detailed just how close the panel was to finding the killer mom not guilty by reason of insanity until one “arrogant” male holdout juror blocked the verdict.

“He admitted he had reasonable doubt after we watched the video of the interview,” the female juror told NBC 10 Boston in an interview with two other women jury members.

“I started filling out forms, I was so excited,” the woman said.

“There were three forms I had to fill out and I started filling them out, I wrote my signature on each one but then he said, ‘But I’m still not going to say she’s not guilty by reason of insanity.’”

One of the three was named Paula and is a former government contractor. Another, Kelly, is a chef in Plymouth, and the foreperson, Ronnie, is a retired fifth-grade special needs teacher.

The jurors called the holdout “arrogant” for refusing to go along with the rest.

One of the jurors told the outlet that the “prosecution didn’t show enough compassion.”

“I just found it to be harsh — very, very harsh,” she said.

“The fact that they had no character witnesses in regards to Lindsay being a bad mother … I found it to be biased.”

The foreperson said all the witnesses and evidence “proved that she loved her children … so she had to have snapped.”

The trio said they found Reddington to be “entertaining,” “arrogant,” “compassionate” and “funny.”

‘”I was so excited,” the woman said.’

That makes me sick, for several reasons.

Repeal the 19, and revert all adult rights strictly to men only. Biological men only.

If they cant control themselves because of hormones and want to use that excuse your rights as adults are gone. If you want the rights without responsibility and accountability and consequences, nope, you arent adults and cant have the rights that come along with it.

Time to do so.

I’m not sure. 2/3 of the men on that jury voted to find her “not guilty”.

Should they be allowed to vote? Maybe some men shouldn’t be allowed to vote either.

“I just found it to be harsh — very, very harsh,” she said.”

The jury forewoman was apparently taking no prisoners with respect to her interpretation of the judge's "reasonable doubt" instruction...Her memo to the judge and subsequent comments indicate a total rejection of the possibility that beyond a reasonable doubt could have also been applied to innocence.

And even if the hold out had reasonable doubts about guilt, he may have had greater doubts about Clancy's innocence.

He may have said that he had some doubt (ie he considered that she had a 'psychotic break’ but there were too many conflicting facts that made that an unreasonable conclusion. The question for the jury was essentially ‘do you think she had a psychotic episode and was not responsible for her actions, or do you think she knew that what she was doing was wrong?’.

In that context, the juror might wonder if she truly did have a psychotic episode, but then look at everything (including sending her husband to the store and checking on his whereabouts and timing) and think that there was an element of manipulation and understanding that makes the psychotic break scenario unlikely beyond a reasonable doubt.

Crazy leftist women want abortion of convenience. First trimester, second trimester, third trimester, K-8, whenever.

When children become inconvenient, they should simply be erased.
