A public bus became stuck in fresh cement after the driver chose to drive down a closed road and bus passengers moved the barriers blocking off the wet cement.
According to local outlet KYW, a bakery on the street where the incident occurred had been waiting two years for a large pothole outside of the business to be filled. A crew finally showed up and filled the hole with cement, and two minutes later a SEPTA public bus rolled up.
Surveillance video provided by the bakery showed two passengers getting off the bus and moving the barriers that were in front of the large hole filled with fresh cement. The bus then drove forward, ruining the renovation that was two years in the making, and getting stuck in the process.

If any of you have ever had any doubt that we are doomed this should remove every shred of your hope for the future.
The comedy of life slogs on.
Climate Change caused the potholes (and most other bad things, by the way).
So let’s not be too quick to blame the driver or the passengers. This unfortunate incident would not have happened had we listened to Al Gore back in the day.
🤔
What blue ‘rat infested craphole full of entitled demonrats is this? 🤣
We live in a 3rd world $H1T hole.
I wonder where this was. Some people do not like videos,
Happened in Philadelphia.
So, I asked Google: “what political party runs, “Philadelphia?”
AI Overview
The Democratic Party runs Philadelphia, holding the mayor’s office, major citywide positions, and a large majority on the City Council.
There you go...
Them barriers were there for a reason, not decoration.
Only in Philly where stupidity reigns supreme...
LOL. This is so typical. I bet it didn’t even enter the driver’s head that the barrier was there because buses and cars could not drive down the street.
Yep. Large swaths of our fellow Americans are simply retarded. And most of them are voting democrat. It won’t be long now . . .
Chesterton’s Fence is the idea that you should not remove or change something until you understand why it was put in place. It’s often summarized as: “Do not remove a fence until you know why it was put up in the first place.”
And the bakery will have to wait a couple more years for the city to fill the hole the bus left in the cement.
Concrete. Not cement.
(Civil Engineering checking in to correct ignorant journalist/headline writer.)
Dumb but the city knew that was a bus route They should have at least blocked parking so the bus could have gotten by.
Now, that is funny, and the ending helps you understand why…
“ Happened in Philadelphia.”
We were all wondering. Well some of us
What imbeciles. Including the journalist
