Not satire: Lindsay Clancy's lawyer asks President Trump for pardon on "Good Morning America"

Question for the defense.

Doesn't the request for a pardon imply guilt?

It's generally a bad practice to execute lawyers along with their clients, no matter how sleazy those lawyers might be, but in this case, one must wonder if we should make an exception.

Last week, Reddington was criticized for informing the media that there was a lone jury holdout, indicating that the holdout was male, and trying to remove the holdout from the case.

Many people interpreted this as jury intimidation so Clancy could get a "not guilty" verdict for methodically and systematically choking the life out of her three young kids.

He is now making the circuit on national TV to make a circus out of the ongoing legal proceedings.

“””“Doesn’t a pardon require a guilty verdict” before a pardon can be handed down. And yes, I believe so.””

No. General Michael Flynn was given a pardon to prevent further persecution. He was never convicted of anything.

President Otto Penn handed out pardons to many people who had never even been charged with anything.

Just remember one thing: They hate him for holding the very same beliefs you hold.

This whole thing is crazy. Should be the death penalty.

Strangled her children with gym bands.

Clancy‘s lawyer is not stupid

True. He is conniving and crafty, using his intelligence to do evil.

That has long been a trait of demonically influenced humans. The mother who would kill her own innocent little children and the sneaky and confident lawyer who works to get her off. Both evidence of the influence.

She’s not charged federally, and the president has no jurisdiction.

Or doing the bidding of the Democrats figuring it will rile up women against Republicans in the midterms if the President says anything against Clancy.

That this is even a thought is highly disturbing.

Reddington is trying to get publicity, he loves the spotlight. He’s hoping to get TV talk show invites. He’s typical scum bottom feeder.

No it does not. Remember Joe Biden pardoned people who had yet to be charged with anything. In fact, most still remain pardoned.

He’s trying to drag President Trump to condemn the murderer in an effort to stir up her soulless supporters.

Doesn’t the request for a pardon imply guilt?
————-

The fact that she killed the children has been stipulated. That point was NEVER in question in this case.

The question was the mental state of the woman when she did it.

I did not pay attention to this thing until people started talking about the charges. In MA “pre meditation” is a bit different than people are used to seeing on TV Dramas. It has to do with the knowledge that your action could result in death. For example, if you pick up a gun there is a reasonable expectation that you could kill the other person with that gun. That is premeditation in MA. There is no “time factor”—meaning planning or talking about it.

MA has some funky nuances to its murder laws. Some of them are surprisingly “harsh.”

I also think you have to be crazy to strangle your little kids.

This case should never have gone to a jury. They should have plead it out and stuck her in a mental hospital for a long, long time.

Maybe we should just pardon people at birth, so they can do what they want without concern for consequences.

I used to think this guy was a good Defense Lawyer. With this request for a Pardon, I have changed my mind. His client murdered 3 children and he wants a Pardon? Give me a break!
