I think a holdout saved an acquittal
I agree.
The defense is appeal to vacate the mistrial to try to force the judge to make the jury reconvene and wear down the holdout.
Absolutely. I fear when that person is identified his life is gonna be a living hell.
One thing we know, liberals are vindictive as a MFer.
Agree, the defense is not happy
They were one juror away from acquittal
White, angry liberal women are the worst
There isn’t going to be an ‘acquittal’.
I think so too. And that holdout's life is going to be hell from now on, criminally so.
“I think a holdout saved an acquittal”
I think they saved a lower charge. I suspect the DA will just file a lower charge like second degree or manslaughter.
We have reached a stage where we couldn’t convict a female Adolf Hitler of murder. Abused childhood, PTS, and inappropriate drug prescriptions would be blamed.
If so, that guy is a hero.
Hero juror. The judge did his best to throw it in her favor.
I think a holdout saved an acquittal
The 12-person jury – made up of nine women and three men – told Judge William Sullivan that they could not agree on whether to convict Clancy, 36, of three counts of first-degree murder.
I disagree. I think the holdout prevented a conviction. The jury instructions that the judge re-read stressed the need for reasonable doubt, not completely free of all doubt. The holdout may have doubted she did it of her free will, instead was pressured into doing it by aliens from outer space. That is doubt, but it’s not reasonable doubt.
“I think a holdout saved an acquittal”
I’m hoping it’s the other way around. But you’re probably right.
If it is a male who is preventing an acquittal, his life will be a living hell from now to eternity. The AWFULs will see to that.
That’s what it sounds like. The general consensus seems to be there was one holdout wanting to convict.
Yes. I think you're right. No other possibility really makes sense,
If that’s where we are in America today, that the jury was 11-1 for acquittal, then we’re done as a society and the Great Experiment is over. Throw in the towel, turn out the lights. Done.
I continue to hope the the jury was 11-1 for conviction. I wonder if we’ll find out for sure.
They’d better retry her, because those kids deserve justice. They can’t just let her walk.
You may be right.
