Not really a good example since most red flag laws generally require specific evidence or testimony in court showing the person is an immediate threat to commit violence or self-harm. That is significantly different than the hypothetical claim that “One day you’ll take a public stand against your city council and you will be MARKED and tracked/harrassed by your town or county police until you throw in the towel and move.” Furthermore, there are actions the accused (for lack of a better term) can take to contest the claim.

There have also been instances where a policeman used his firearm to commit a crime. Does that mean we should disarm all police? If the police abuse the system, then prosecute them. Don’t throw the baby out with the wash.
The “TOOL” garbage started as a safety campaign issuing verbal warnings about seatbelts. Now in some states third offense takes your license. It mushroomed into a revenue enhancer and probable cause to stop and check you. Do I trust them spying on me. NO!!!!!!! The “TOOL” Box needs to be cleaned out and The US Constitution placed inside it.

How about the whole neighborhoods home security cameras? How about a Police Chief who called for a "cough cough" "VOLUNTEER" registering of peoples private home security camera so they'd know where they were? City just south of me tried to pulled that crap a couple months ago. Now ALL government spy cameras are being taken down including FLOCK. Calling Flock cameras license plate readers is intentional misdirection by the Flock company, law enforcement and the surveillance state.

What are you rambling on about? I don’t care what a town near you did. What I care about is that a private business is free to put up or take down any cameras they wish in order to protect their business. You must be the other type of person who thinks businesses should do whatever the government wants them to do. We have a name for that kind of person.
Regardless, my point still stands. Nobody cares what you are doing. You are not that important. (But yeah, if hundreds of people break into the Capitol it should be investigated.)
