Jelly Roll can’t say he didn’t ask for it.
After the rotund, country-rooted rapper drew fire from fans for using his guest-starring stint on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” for consecutive nights of bashing President Donald Trump with all the sneering condescension of the modern left, he responded to critics by essentially telling them to stop listening to him.
He might not have been expecting too many to take his advice.
In a podcast Monday and a post on the social media platform X, conservative social media personality Johnson reported that he’d run the numbers on Jelly Roll’s social media accounts and found that “hundreds of thousands” of the entertainer’s followers had abandoned him.
With the aid of a request to the artificial intelligence engine Grok, and using social media tracking websites, Johnson found that Jelly Roll’s followers had plummeted after his Kimmel guest-hosting spots.
Figures for TikTok were unavailable, Johnson said, but the number of followers lost for Jelly Roll on Instagram, Facebook, and X was considerably more than 100,000. And that isn’t the last of it.
“You have to assume there’s going to be attrition in other platforms,” Johnson said. “It’s hundreds of thousands … of subscribers.”

One would think that he would at least try to cover them up or get them removed..............
One would think that he would at least try to cover them up or get them removed..............
I wonder how many will get the reference... LOL!!!
Probably my ad blocker....
Soon enough he’ll be playing at State fairs, Indian casinos and carnivals.
I only heard of “jellyRoll” from scrolling past articles in the daily mail.
Anyone who lets him influence them on anything besides perhaps doughnuts is an idiot moron retard.
Absolutely.
Exactly.
he doesn’t look like a felon at all...😂
When I was in elementary school, boys on the playground referred to rolled up used maxi pads as jelly rolls to gross people out 🤢🤮. What we refer to now as urban slang.
just another empty soul white dude who found his identity copying a ghetto black fad...
ICWYDT
Not mentioned...Jelly Roll, born Jason DeFord, spent time in juvenile detention starting at age 14 and faced multiple arrests and prison sentences for charges including aggravated robbery and drug possession. His experiences in incarceration ultimately led him to discover his passion for music, which became a pivotal part of his transformation.
He won three Grammy Awards at the 2026 Grammys—Best Country Duo/Group Performance for “Amen” (with Shaboozey), Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song for “Hard Fought Hallelujah” (with Brandon Lake and others), and Best Contemporary Country Album for Beautifully Broken. He also earned additional Grammy nominations in earlier years, including a Best New Artist nomination at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards.
Stop calling people like this fat slob pos and others such as Post Malone, Morgan Wallen, and yes even Luke Bryan and Keith Urban country music stars. They are not country, they are pop.
He didn’t fool real country fans.
I was at a convention in Houston and we got tickets to Houston Rodeo. Every night there’s a rodeo and a concert, most with big name entertainers.
Unfortunately, the night we were there it was some singer named Jelly Roll.
The show was OK, but that’s all. I wasn’t and still aren’t familiar with any of his songs.
He got a bit choked up when he said it was a lifelong dream to perform at Houston Rodeo and that the crowd of 50,000 was by far his biggest show ever.
Guess that’ll never happen again. I think Murph and the Magictones still have their red carpet covered piano for sale. He can get a regular gig at the local Holiday Inn
“...he said it was a lifelong dream to perform at Houston Rodeo”...
I think he says that to every crowd to get a reaction:
“...It’s been my lifelong dream to perform at ___________________...”
Probably, but it was a huge show so that one might have been true.
In fairness to “Jelly Roll,” I really think he is just plain stupid. I don’t think he has any real political philosophy or position on anything. I think that anyone can fool him into agreeing with anything. So I think the writers put something in front of him and he read it. Then he got defensive when he was criticized and doubled down. Then he woke the “F” up and realized what he did and started backtracking. Just plain stupidity. Don’t get me wrong - he’d done other things in his life that make clear that he is self-centered, gluttonous, prideful, lustful and has no self-control. He hits a lot of the Seven Deadly Sins. But a Hardcore Woke Leftist? Nah.
