If you knew NASA the way I know NASA, you'd know that it is institutionally up to its ears in "DEI".

DEI policies call into question the merits of ANYBODY who might be seen as benefitting from them.

I Know who NGR was ... sure ... she's as worthy of a telescope as anybody ... without the taint of DEI policies.

I don’t think ‘DEI’ had anything to do with her tenure at NASA. She started there in 1959.
