A woman is drawing massive condemnation on social media after a video surfaced where she said she killed her baby in an abortion because she “loved him.”
Describing abortion as supposedly the only way she could protect the baby from a hard childhood, the woman ignore adoption as an alternative or improving the circumstances to welcome a child.
“I got the abortion because I loved my baby, and I could not see a better way to love my baby and protect my baby from a childhood in a world that would not be kind to it,” she said. “I knew whatever protection I could give my baby was going to be insufficient because of the circumstances of that pregnancy.”

She did not give her name or say how far along she was. She also did not describe the “circumstances of that pregnancy,” except to say the world would not be kind and that her own protection would fall short.
For more people on social media viewing the view, that came across as a flimsy excuse.
She called the child “my baby” throughout.
The woman said she could not see a better way to love the baby than to kill him in an abortion. That reasoning is the opposite of protecting a child already alive in the womb. A baby does not cease to be a baby because life after birth may be difficult. The child she said she loved is the child whose life she said she ended hypocritically.

I once worked with a woman who had an abortion because it would have interfered with her cruise vacation. True story. And, it disgusts me to this day.

Years ago there was a case in Utah about an underage woman suing for the right to abortion because summer was coming on and she wanted to look good in her swimsuit. If you need an excuse, apparently any one will do.

Its called not having sex. Thats the only 100% reliable preventable way, apart from removing the ovaries. Tubal ligation and vasectomies have documented cases of reversals and pregnancies.
I know you all going to hate me for this but I really believe Mrs Clancy had post partum and was mental. Mrs Clancy had sought help from a nervous hospital days before she went off. They sent her home, told her she was fine when she said she was not. That nervous hospital also had her on a bunch of psych drugs that were interfering with each other. It’s complicated to explain just under stand a personal injury lawyer will have a field day with it. I hope Mr Clancy sues that nervous hospital and takes them apart brick by brick.
I also hope Mrs Clancy is put in a better, and very long term nervous hospital that helps her.

There is always adoption and if she “loved” her unborn baby she would have made the decision to walk away and give the child a chance at life in a devoted home. So to her love means saying you aren’t sorry.
And as disgusting as that it, it was 1000% more honest of her than this psycho that killed her kid because “the world is unkind.” If the woman in the present case really believed the garbage coming out of her mouth, she would have offed herself too.
