The most formidable challenges facing establishment Democrats in November’s midterms are the success of far-left, socialist, or progressive candidates in primary elections and mainstream Democrats’ surrender to that wing of the party.
Alongside advocating for an agenda that is radical in its drive to reshape America – and is broadly unpopular – the DSA’s influence has left Democrats on the wrong side of an issue that the party has been hobbled by in the past: transgender policies.
Simply put, the DSA’s strong opposition to legislation banning biological males from competing in women’s sports has come to define where the national Democratic Party stands, much to its detriment.
And while this problem did not suddenly become an issue – Democrats had been trending this way for years before the 2024 election – it is only getting worse and will continue to do so.
Indeed, we have already seen examples of it becoming a prominent topic in 2026 campaigns.
In Florida, Republican gubernatorial candidate Byron Donalds has made transgender issues a central line of attack against Democrat David Jolly, including Jolly’s position on gender-affirming care for minors. Jolly disputes Donalds’ characterization of his position.
Moreover, in Massachusetts, during a debate against incumbent Democratic Sen. Ed Markey, primary challenger Rep. Seth Moulton was forced to reverse himself and walk back comments he made just two years ago.
At the time, Moulton said, "I have two little girls, I don’t want them getting run over on a playing field by a male or formerly male athlete."

A very apt observation.
One recalls the tranny types asserting "God made a mistake." One thinks to the many schismatic "religious" groups asserting quite similar things, as they tore apart denomination after denomination, Christian and Jewish alike. The "Gaia" worshipers speak to supplanting God with god. Too many examples.
I swear that when this ‘trans’ business first started I thought is was satire from some conservative website, trying to show how insane the liberals had become.
Who would have guessed democrats would embrace it 100%

There’s not a single issue that democrats hold dear that resonates with the public, or more specifically, the voters.
It’s all false, there’s no such thing as ‘transgender’, or ‘climate change’, or ‘Palestine’ for that matter, and virtually everyone can see the disastrous results of open borders, including democrats.
Democrats cannot connect with the voters so they pay celebrities to do this for them, thinking that celebrities have some magic powers, but they don’t.
The majority of voters despise the Hollywood elites as much as they do the democrats.
The only way the democrats can win is by cheating.
That’s very much like I felt when I first heard of this controversy...I thought someone had made it up as a joke. After all, you can’t exchange Chromosomes. Show me someone who says you can...and Chromosomes would definitely be the deciding factor, would they not?
Even among Democrats, support for allowing transgender athletes to play on teams that align with their current gender identity has dropped 10 points since 2021, now sitting below a majority, at 45% – despite party leadership’s embrace of the position.
"Gender at birth", "current gender identity." I get so tired of this. It's the person's actual sex, both at birth, now, and forever. I am tired of pandering to these lunatics by adopting their language.
Transgenderism is just another Rat party wedge issue.
Started with women’s rights in the ‘20s, black rights in the ‘60s, abortion in the ‘70s, queer rights in the ‘80s, queer “marriage” in the 2000’s, transgenderism after that.
Probably left out a few scams in this list but it’s the same template: advance claims of exclusion by some outgroup and pound on it so they can get votes and get a few more people in office beholden to them.
That’s the only actual interest, not “tranny liberation” or whatever.

I think trans was born of the queer zealots figuring they had “won” getting homos out of the closet, and in a lot of respects they did, so they needed a new unmentionable thing to push and with which to torment decent people.
So they took to further debasing society, latching on to butchering children and calling it a ‘trans movement.’
The correct term is NOT 'gender affirming care' it's 'sexual mutilation' of children. Most of us are bored with the whole issue of 'men pretending to be women'... what a yawn.
But we do care about the permeant sexual mutilation of children. And we do care about grown men playing sports on women's teams. And if a thirty year old man 'self identifies' as a ten year old boy we OBJECT to him playing on a little league baseball team with children. It's not fair and everyone knows it. Jolly's a nightmare waiting to happen but he's got the corrupt press in his pocket which will be rough for a while...
