Today's Cryptogram

Posted on 08/28/2026 2:36:58 AM PDT by FroggyTheGremlim

Hiya kids! Hiya, Hiya!

Good Morning Crypto-FReepers.

I see some of the same old faces out there.

But that's OK - I like you anyway.

Today's quote is well worth learning and keeping in mind for all of today's issues.

The quote references one of my favorite peeves.

Your clues should be interesting.

Ha Ha Ha!

I'll be good - I will, (like heck) I will.

Ha ha ha.

This is today's quote:

__ Hello, Ready for a mental workout? __ A Cryptogram is a classic quotation puzzle frequently featured in daily publications. I source the best and most challenging ones to help keep our minds sharp and boost cognitive health!

__ How the Cryptogram Works

In a Cryptogram, a single letter always stands for another letter.
(Example: AXYDLBAAXR might translate to LONGFELLOW. This is just an example and does not apply to today's puzzle.)
If this is your first time, don't be intimidated-the game is very addictive, and you will quickly master the technique! If you find yourself stumped, simply take a break and return to it later. _

__ Instructions & Community Etiquette

Please follow these guidelines for the best experience for everyone: __ HAL'S CRYPTOGRAM HELPER

__ Post a Clever Clue

Feel free to post a fun or clever clue-the more tangential to the quotation the better! Just remember that your clue must not contain the actual words of the solved quote. Good luck, and enjoy the challenge! __ FreeRepublic, LLC, PO BOX 9771, FRESNO, CA 93794 FreeRepublic.com is powered by software copyright 2000-2008 John Robinson

The author of the quote needs to look in the mirror. This country is not as he titles it.

It all started with the guy who owned this opulent swimming pool.  Hint: not located in Greece, but in the State where it takes a couple weeks for mail-in ballots to come in.

Well, the date of publication for his book is 1996. Much has changed since 1996.
