WaPo got nuked from orbit after it tried to make Dolly Parton an example of "choosing against parenting"

Tributes have poured out from around the globe. It's true — Dolly really was one of the last universally beloved stars. Nobody had a bad word to say about her.

One of the reasons she was so treasured was because she was almost entirely apolitical, at least in public. She essentially never got involved in political or cultural disputes. She was just a great entertainer and a good woman.

Yet the Washington Post attempted to recruit her as a soldier in one of the most contentious disputes of our time: "Dolly Parton's lack of children demonstrated that the world could in fact love a woman who wasn't a mother. But more importantly, she was proof that a person could be an advocate for children while personally choosing against parenting."

They also ignored the reason she was called "Aunt Granny" - something very prominent in her biography - that she helped raised her nieces and nephews.

A cursory amount of research would have revealed all of this, so of course we know that what the truth was is wholly irrelevant to the authors who merely had an agenda.

The trannies, scabs, slobs and scum at Newsweak attacked her yesterday implying that Republicans bought the books we keep hearing about but now the GOP has quit funding the Book thing since she died. Sleazy Bass turds.

She probably would have objected to the week of half mast flags on her behalf. She would have seen it as implying she was a Trump supporter. She objected to any exposure of her personal view of politics , even turning down Presidential medals of freedom that were offered by Presidents on either sides of the spectrum.

True about her not supporting Dem or Republican. But she endorsed the radical pro-homosexual, trans and drag queen agenda. Meanwhile she apparently did not say a word about pro-life and protecting babies in the womb.

-—10 times Dolly Parton cemented her status as an LGBTQ+ icon
The country music legend demonstrated her allyship and love for her LGBTQ+ fans for decades.

THIS IS THE PERFECT RESPONSE…

Dolly Parton had the BEST RESPONSE in 2018 when ABC tried to pressure her into attacking Trump…

IT DIDN'T WORK!!!

Calling this a “radical pro-homosexual, trans and drag queen agenda” is partisan rhetoric, not a neutral description.

Her stance was consistent, broad acceptance and opposition to discrimination or harsh judgment, not advocacy for any specific extreme policy platform. She generally avoided deep partisan fights.

Not radical? Dolly favored homosexual marriage, which redefined marriage into meaninglessness, and which was strongly opposed by conservative Christians, including the Catholic Church. She favored the trans agenda that included chopping off body parts of girls and castrating teenaged boys. And she favored allowing biological men into female bathrooms.

Google “LGBTQ” and “10 ways Dolly supported the gay agenda.” While she said nothing about the one million abortions a year (she didn’t love EVERYBODY)

You keep preaching this stance about Dolly, and you’re welcome to it.

Not sure why you continue to attempt to recruit others to agree with your opinion as that effort is doomed to fail.

This woman, imperfect like the rest of us, was widely liked and very, very few people ever had a harsh thing to say about her.

I don’t care for your opinion, and do not agree with your version of reality concerning her stances on the subjects you chose, but as I said before you’re welcome to your opinion.

I agree that she was a nice lady. But people were calling her this a wonderful apolitical Christian even though she took a strong liberal stand on one of the most controversial and partisan issues—gay-trans-drag. At the same time, she was silent on the great moral catastrophe called abortion.

Great point! I judge all entertainers by their political stands. Except maybe for PINK.
