Microsoft employees donated over $2 Million to Democrats so far in 2026, 80% of all political donations. This from the company which studies "Pronouns in Software".
I have a relative who went to work at Microsoft in the 90s. Got very wealthy, became a left wing loon but now is moving because of the Washington estate tax
For a trip down memory lane, a search with Brave's AI reveals:
In 1998, Microsoft Corp executives and affiliates donated to both major U.S. political parties, with a stronger tilt toward Republicans: $959,418 (65.38%) went to Republicans and $507,953 (34.62%) to Democrats.
I’m surprised it’s not at least 98% leftist. Most of Silicon valley is.
“80%? If it’s south of 90% I’d be surprised.”
That was exactly my reaction, too.
“Microsoft employees donated over $2 Million to Democrats so far in 2026, 80% of all political donations.”
Just one counter donation from Musk wiped all that out.....with plenty of room to spare.
Blue screen of death....not red.
Businesses in general turned hard left because the lefties made their consumer dollars count and the right didn’t.
MSM, big entertainment and education are all 80% SOCIALIST. Liberalism is DEAD, long live socialism is the new mantra!
I find THAT hard to believe.
Glad I left back in 1998. It was a great place to work. Even had a Microsoft Gun Club. “The original point and click interface.” Might even have the polo shirt around here someplace.
That’s a good point - can one really boycott on moral purpose when there are few to no alternatives?
Budlight is generic beer-flavored water (that’s being generous), so it was easy to switch to another beer-flavored water or to actual beer.
Gillette made over-priced blades that could be replaced by Dollar Shave or Bic or Wilkinson sword or others which might be 95% the same but much cheaper.
