An iconic southern landmark went up in flames on Friday morning.
If you've ever vacationed in Panama City Beach, Florida (as most of the Southeast has), you're almost certainly aware of the "shark store," a shop called Jaws Souvenirs on the way to the Florida coast.
Welp. It's a goner.

This thing went up like a firework. Here's WSFA:
Officials say the Bay County Sheriff's Office was also on scene to assist with traffic.
Officials say the eastbound and westbound lanes are currently closed and ask drivers to avoid the area from Upas St. to Walnut St. while they work to contain the fire.
City of Panama City Beach's Fire Chief, Ray Morgan, says the building is a total loss.
Fire Chief Morgan says the State Fire Marshal is en route and there will be an investigation.
No word on how the fire started, but I have my suspicions.

Florida Icon ping!.................
Sharks with laser beams focused on the one store mocking them and had enough.
“We’re going to need a bigger fire truck!”
Sharknado.

I shopped there many a time when visiting my parents back in the day.
It burned after Al Sharkton whipped up a race riot.
