The U.K. is at it again, blocking a Finnish parliamentarian, Päivi Räsänen. from entering the United Kingdom based on a “hate speech” conviction hung on her for quoting the Bible and defending Scripture, according to Alliance Defending Freedom CEO Kristen Waggoner.
According to LifeSite News:
Finnish parliamentarian Päivi Räsänen was once again blocked from entering the United Kingdom due to her “hate speech” conviction for defending Scripture, according to Alliance Defending Freedom CEO Kristen Waggoner. Räsänen is a member of Finnish Parliament’s “Friends of the United Kingdom” group.
Ironically, Räsänen is apparently a member of the Finnish Parliament’s “Friends of the United Kingdom” group. With friends like today’s U.K., who needs enemies?
This is the second time in as many months that Räsänen has been denied entry to the U.K. Last month, Räsänen -- a doctor, grandmother, member of Finnish parliament, and devout Christian-- was informed that she could not travel through London’s Heathrow Airport after speaking at an ADF conference.
I will leave it up to you to decide which one of those attributes U.K. authorities were uncomfortable with.
Räsänen was recently invited to speak at a religious liberty conference in Northern Ireland, but the U.K. refused to let her enter the country, due to her “hate speech” conviction for authoring a church pamphlet on Biblical marriage back in 2004.
But, Quran O.K. “Allahu Akhbar” no problem. Translation: Oppressing women and murdering infidels such as gays and lesbians is fine, but quoting a Bible passage or two suggesting that same sex encounters may be sinful is right out. Better to just throw gays and lesbians off rooftops or stone them to death. (Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity baby! DIE!) Seems like quite a bit of toxic masculinity for such a weak tit country, doesn’t it?

A weak link in civility
F U.K. One of the great civilizations has been conquered and is undergoing “fundamental transformation”.

We all came of age or grew up in an America that was erasing Christianity in every way in the public space and in anything to do with outside of your personal home, Christmas became the holidays, Christmas parades became “the festival of lights”, Easter about bunnies, the manger scene forbidden where they had been displayed for a 100 years, the cross necklace forbidden at work.
The war against religion was relentless and never ending, and then Islam arrived and now religion is so public, colleges and airports plumbing in foot baths, rooms being set aside or built as prayer rooms, Burqas and Arab clothing everywhere, Islam is promoted in schools and other government and workplaces, like Target converting dressing rooms into prayer rooms, the places that were leading in the generations old war against Christianity being seen or experienced anywhere.
When the lefties saw those two airliners crash into the Twin Towers, their hearts leapt. They knew right then and there that they had discovered their new ideological soulmates.
The UK should be officially designated a terrorist state at this point.
Here’s the part that is interesting to me. Prior to the influx of aggressive, radical Islam, Christianity still was dying in England. But the elites and even the masses were turning to atheism. Either soft atheism of not going to church and saying there is no God if confronted with the question, or more proactive atheism of proclaiming themselves atheists. Prominent politicians - mainly in Labour and the Lib-Dems but some in other parties - openly proclaimed themselves to be atheist and they were viewed as the smart ones. Christians were viewed as stupid rubes - a relic of the past. Now, these same smart-set “atheists’ are falling all over themselves to talk about the beauty of Islam and some are converting. You don’t hear nearly as much about proactive atheism anymore. The wind is blowing toward Islam on the Left and atheism is taking a back seat.
This is what happens when a people gives it weapons to the government.

The UK is a traditionally Christian country, and needs to return to Christ!
