Wirskye also shared texts in which Anthony expressed being “on the verge” and fantasized about stabbing someone and licking the blood from the blade.
The prosecutor told the court that Anthony’s girlfriend, Valeria Perez, went to school officials that very morning and reported that she had broken up with him and that he was stalking her.
Roughly one hour later, Metcalf was stabbed to death under the Memorial High School tent at David Kuykendall Stadium.
He died in his twin brother's arms.
Text messages recovered from that morning show Anthony writing “I’m low key on the verge,” a statement Wirskye emphasized as evidence that he was looking for trouble.
The prosecutor further revealed that Anthony had a history of violence, had previously been taken by his parents to a special program at LSU for children who could not keep their hands to themselves, and was obsessed with starting fights.
Most chillingly, Wirskye shared a text in which Anthony fantasized about stabbing someone and then licking the blood off the blade, adding that Anthony “wanted to stab someone.”
KARMELO ANTHONY BOMBSHELL: Karmelo Anthony's girlfriend, Valeria, went to the school the morning of the Austin Metcalf stabbing, April 2, 2025, and told school officials she had broken up with Anthony and he was stalking her. One hour later, Austin was dead at the track meet,…

Premeditation by definition.................
I BET SHE IS MORE THAN THANKFUL SHE WAS NOT THE TARGET THAT DAY.
WHAT METCALF CRIMINAL RECORD???????//
🚨 HOLY CRAP! Karmelo Anthony's girlfriend told school officials the morning of Austin Metcalf’s murder about Karmelo stalking her, while he sent texts FANTASIZING about murder
35 years was NOT ENOUGH.
“There is a text message where he fantasizes about STABBING someone and licking the blood off the blade,” the prosecutor revealed
“I'm low key on the verge,” Anthony said an hour before stabbing Austin Metcalf
The prosecutor just revealed this info in court as Karmelo’s team pushes to get a re-trial. A “gentleman's agreement” was in place to keep this out of the original trial.

This testimony should never have been suppressed..........
The trial judge put a gag on everyone. The reasoning was probably to keep an untainted jury pool, and avoid mistrial challenges. It would be interesting to know if this data was presented during the trial.
Right. Even if he miraculously gets a new trial, the evidence will not change.
Bombshell News REVEALED About Karmelo Anthony's Texts and Threats to Girlfriend on Day of Stabbing
These are just some of the reasons why his defense did not want him on the witness stand.
From the excerpt, this evidence was not presented due to a “gentleman’s agreement” between prosecutor and defense.
I speculate that there was a stipulation that he did it and was guilty of killing Metcalfe.
The trial was about whether it was self defense, not about whether he killed Metcalfe.
See Post # 8.
So, basically, he was looking for any excuse to kill someone.
Have you seen the excuse that Anthony’s defense team wants to use? That it was raining at the time of his crime, and that he was trying to stay out of the rain?
This time make it a capital offense.
Right after it happened I saw a girl from Anthony’s school being interviewed and she said he had previously been suspended for carrying a knife. Then that instantly disappeared.
I doubt we can count on Karmelo being good for 17 years. He’ll get all the fights he can handle in the slam. 😏
Yes, that’s patently ridiculous. The lawyers must be absolute morons or they are milking the family for more dough. And getting famous on TV land want to be the next Johnny Cockroach...........
