Democratic National Committee Chairman Ken Martin defended his organization’s fundraising record despite a massive Republican advantage and implored allies to help raise more funds in the final few months before the November midterm elections.
“While we’ve raised a record amount of money, and it is a record in the 198-year history of the DNC, there’s no chair or no team of officers that’s raised more money without the White House in [its] team, but the reality is we need more,” Martin said during an executive committee meeting on Friday. “I don’t want folks to think, well, we’re OK. We need more because we have an administration on the other side, a White House who has auctioned off the federal government, who is essentially giving contracts to the highest bidder, and as a result, are getting their war chest filled by every corporation under the sun.”
President Donald Trump’s super PAC, MAGA Inc., is sitting on a massive $400 million war chest, according to the organization’s latest Federal Election Commission filing. The president has claimed that he will deploy the financial resources to boost Republicans nationwide, but the political action committee has yet to spend a significant amount.

The DNC not having money is overrated.
I read democrat message boards almost as much as conservative ones, & the “little democrats” aren’t into funding the corporate DNC, so they send their money directly to candidates or other leftwing PAC organizations.
“Just saying” that’s the way they’re rolling and Republicans better spend their money wisely and efficiently and blunt any blue wave 2026 into a blue trinkle.
