FIRST ON FOX: Harvard allegedly failed to adequately safeguard research collaborations with Chinese institutions, including universities tied to Beijing’s military and defense-industrial base, according to a report from the House Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party.
600K more PRC STEM students will definitely fix this ! Trump suspend PRC visas for at least one year NOW!

The leftist university continues to give aid and comfort to the enemies of the United States.
I received my PhD in molecular biology from Harvard, and authored or coauthored two major and highly cited papers based on my PhD research.
Neither my work, nor other studies in our department, had ANY connection with communist China! So I am surprised that there has been so much collaboration between Harvard and China in subsequent years!
So then there are multiple Chinese post-docs and fellows around, and they often stick together - thus working against assimilating into the culture.
They often come in on H1Bs, and eventually, after they are involved in multiple lab projects that need to be completed, the only way they can stay to finish is to either extend the H1B, if possible, or apply for a green card - usually with the head of the lab writing letters for them stating that they are highly valuable and if they leave it will stall important research.
Eventually you have a situation like the one that is the focus of this thread - with multiple connections between American universities and China. It's a slippery slope.
What is needed are rules that limit how many H1Bs an academic institution can have at any given time, and much stricter rules on green cards.
DOJ Review: The Department of Justice launched a review into Harvard’s foreign funding disclosures—totaling roughly $4.5 billion—examining whether specific grants or financial aid frameworks tied to foreign entities (like China-linked sources) violate federal guidelines.
Congress finds 140 papers co-authored by CCP military universities.
Hey Moe check this out
Yes i know very familiar with the university research environment. Still if some these programs need crash and burn if PRC STEM Students are removed, let them! This will be true for programs in many state supported schools. The school administrations and state legislatures have been spending money on all more administrators, ludicrous study programs, etc. State legislatures need to step up and replace Chinese money with state money. Many of these schools are land grant schools. Their land grant charter empowers them to work teach
and research to improve their respective states NOT CHINA!

;;;;;;;
what the trump administration is doing is yanking all research funding from the universities. and creating a program that funds individual and organizations away from universities.
I’m not. Most of these universities have been courting Chinese money the last 15 years.
ROTFLMAO. Harvard safeguard research from China!!!!! Hell, they would safeguard it from US military institutions first.
Agree!
Respect
Here’s a tidbit of information that many may not be aware of when it comes to Chinese Students in the US.
Some may wonder why they do not go the the many universities in China to study. Well, it boils down to the CCP, as do most things in China. The CCP knows that students in China can only learn what the Party has predetermined acceptable to Party doctrine.
The Party is Never Wrong and questioning statements in CCP approved texts is tantamount to questioning the Party itself and is heavily ‘frowned on’, so students never question anything.
Only by sending its best students of the US and other Western countries can students learn and bring that knowledge back to China.
And help China!
Particularly at state universities, that’s not their job!
Help China at state taxpayer expense is not their job!
Or any other country!
Having international students improves the college education experience. How? By how much? Has anyone measured that?
Again state universities particularly land grant universities have one role improve their respective states!
When are TRAITORS going to be identified and prosecuted!!!!
I mean, will it EVER HAPPEN??
Harvard was once a great school... now the scum ride the reputation of their past.
