Why not build a compact pickup with not touch screen, as few sensors as possible, with knobs and dials, etc. Also a naturally aspirated engine with as little computer controls as possible, one that easy to work on and the only battery that is necessary is the one to start the thing.

Probably selll a lot of them.

A naturally aspirated engine with as little computer controls as possible wouldn’t pass the EPA specs for pollution and fuel mileage.

The rest would work: no power windows, power locks, manual transmission, key start, analog speedo and gages, AC optional, plain AM/FM radio, No digital anything on the dash..........
