Tucker Carlson unveils 10-point manifesto amid third-party speculation

Tucker Carlson used a highly promoted livestream Wednesday to unveil a 10-point vision for America β€” defining the worldview of a breakaway MAGA faction increasingly at odds with President Trump.

Why it matters: After vowing last month to "help build a third party," Carlson fueled further speculation this weekend by hosting MAGA dissidents at his home in Maine, where they urged him to run for president in 2028.

The former Fox News host stopped short of a formal launch, instead presenting the manifesto as the foundation for "whatever comes next" β€” a new political order he said could "find all kinds of expressions."

Zoom in: Carlson said any successor to America's faltering political system should begin with a shared understanding of what the country "should be," which he distilled into 10 points.

As long as that Qatari money magically appears in Tuq’r Al Qualson’s accounts he can count himself a success.

For him traction is causing the Republican’s to lose the 2028 election. An added bonus is if he can help them lose the House and/or Senate in 2026.

Sad how far Tuq’r has fallen or maybe he hasn’t fallen but just can’t hide his real self any longer. His ego is and self-righteousness exceeds those he used to criticize for theirs.

I find it interesting that Democrats will work/vote together to implement the their (unchanging) long term plan.

They get personal gain, money and recognition, behind the scenes.

The Republicans, with a (barely) majority, cannot agree on a vision and move together toward it.

They let their personal feelings, beliefs, and egos rule their voting. The stated Republican goals are conservative, but each Republican wants to get there (or so they say in public) using their personal method.

The Democrat plan is Satan’s plan, and they follow it.

The Republican plan could be God’s plan, but these Republcans want to be their own god.

This the problem with inviting nutjobs inside the wire. Sooner or later they will make a mess.

Trump failed to make an argument for the war.

The problem is that no one in a position of power can state publicly why this war is important because of the subsequent questions and issues it would raise.

Why is thus war important?

Iran can never be allowed to posses or control a nuclear weapon.

Why is that?

Keep in the front of your mind that using a nuclear weapon on "the Great Satan" is not their goal. Their ultimate real goal is to create a state of chaos in the world so the 12th Imam will come out of hiding. If they have a nuclear weapon what will they do with it to create that chaos?

They will drop it on Jerusalem.

How will that create chaos?

Here comes the part that they cannot or will not discuss.

How many nuclear bombs does Israel have?

The best estimate is between 80 and 90.

What will Israel do if:
1.) They lose a war to Muslim armies, or
2.) Jerusalem is nuked.

They will take those 80-90 nukes and righteously light up every large city in the Muslim world including Mecca and Medina and we will be powerless to stop them.

Now I don't know about you but that's what I call chaos.

She is not a quitter. She sees things through to the end. She made sure that she worked (on paper) in the House all the way until she got her retirement pay. She actually went above and beyond and put in (on paper) 3 more days than was legally required to secure that retirement pay.

Obviously, you made a good case in advocating for the war on Israel's behalf.

We had Iran somewhat contained for the time being on 2/28/2026.

Not this, again!

Firstly, are Tucker, MTG and Massie American?

Secondly, we dont know if it’ll be third party. My guess it this will shape up within the G.O.P itself.

I highly doubt they will leave the GOP and do a proper third party considering the effort it takes in the US.

They’re a wing of the Republican Party and they have always had a place at FR - long before I was even a poster - such as in the RLC (Republican Liberty Caucus) sub-forum which still exists as far as I’m aware.

You just don’t like this segment of conservatism. I understand that. But it doesn’t mean it’s not news, interesting or appealing to some people here including myself which you may find odd but it does.

What do you mean “not this again” your diversion into that evasive rant had nothing to do with what I posted.

My post to that other person said “We will hear a lot about this 3rd party and these three characters as it is promoted here at FR, and the person who will be promoting it is the same one who promotes the three and who posted this thread, a foreigner who can’t vote, and who has never even set foot in America, has never been here.”

Maybe skip my post 109, multiple other sources say that Carlson has about 5.7 million subscribers.

Wonder what makes Tucker Carlson think those who run the third-party would be any better.

Maybe he doesn’t understand what the highest bidders do?.

MTG’s constituents elected her to serve a full term. She did not do so. Ergo, she’s a quitter.

My guess it this will shape up within the G.O.P itself.

If that's the case, it's fine. If they try to go outside the party at this point, it's a non-starter.

Tucker Carlson, Thomas Massie, Marjorie Taylor Greene and Joe Kent walk into a bar... The joke will eventually write itself.

No matter what we think of Trump's and the Republican Party's problems, this group is not capable of working together.

They will turn on each other more viciously than when they turned on Trump.

Good point...I was focused on his long form video channel @TuckerCarlson and completely forgot about the @TCNetwork channel.

While there may be some overlap between the two, his combined video subscriber base is well over 7 million.

No wonder those puny Zionist "influencers" like Mark Levin and Ben Shapiro are jealous. πŸ˜‰

I must be reading this stuff wrong, I thought the source in 109 was saying that he had 2 million youtube subscribers and then saw later that other sources agreed on 5.7 million youtube subscribers.

Yes. It would be much better if Iran were to vaporize New York or DC with its first nuclear tipped missile. Then we would have a solid reason to send a stiff diplomatic note to the mullahs.
