Gen. Alexus Grynkewich, the head of U.S. European Command, sent written notification to senior Pentagon officials saying that without another Navy destroyer he will be forced to choose defense of the United States “homeland” over that of Israel,

I’m curious how many FReepers would elect to protect Israel over the United States if faced with the choice.

I'm curious as to how many Jew-haters we have now on Free Republic.

The right does not need to be associated with Jew-hatred. The left already calls us "Nazis", even though "Nazi" means "national socialism."

This story was obviously fabricated to feed into the Jew Hatred we are seeing all over the internet nowadays.

If I understand the argument . . . if the U.S. sends one more destroyer to protect Israel, then Israel will be too strong to be harmed by their enemies.

But . . . seeing the destroyer redeployment, U.S. enemies (Russia, China, N. Korea, Iran individually or in combination) will sense U.S. homeland vulnerability and attack using either conventional or nuclear weapons.

This does not seem like a reasonable plan by our enemies.

The US has done a lot through the Abraham Accords.

Ummm, isn't that what he took an oath to do?

Personally, the question doesn’t even make sense to me. But then I’m a native U.S. citizen of native U.S. citizens and have no allegiance to any other country. I wish Israel (and Ukraine, for that matter) all the luck in the world, but I really don’t care what happens to them.
