Seeing Ukrainian dictator Volodymyr Zelenskyy at Senator Lindsey Graham’s funeral seemed fitting: Z-Man’s money-laundering operation in Kyiv was the proximate cause of Graham’s death. Had the senator not been working so hard to add to the butcher’s bill in Europe, he would still be alive today. Surely there is a lesson here for some people to see.

I know there are plenty of pro-Ukraine cheerleaders who just cannot stomach any criticism of an ongoing military conflict that has now lasted longer than WWII. However, I have never seen this as anything other than a civil war that British, European, and American globalists have exploited for monetary and geopolitical reasons that have nothing to do with the sovereignty of Ukraine.

Ukraine is not a member of the European Union. It is not a member of NATO. If Ukraine’s diminutive dictator wishes to turn what’s left of his country into a parking lot, so be it. Let the weight of this folly fall on the head of a comedian who has led his country to slaughter and will leave it a rump of its former self. When the war finally ends, the multinational investment firms will recycle the carnage into reconstruction profits. Ukraine will be stripped and sold for parts. Its people will live in other countries. Foreigners from Asia, Africa, and the Middle East will be dumped into Ukraine by the millions to make up for the rump state’s depleted workforce. Ukraine will never look the same. And future historians will wonder why a comedian was allowed to destroy an entire nation.

It’s not as if the Ukrainian people have had a choice in this matter. Elections have been canceled. Public dissent is outlawed. Opposition political parties are outlawed.

I completely disagree with his opinion. It IS about the sovereignty of Ukraine. It's very clear that the Ukrainians do not want to be ruled by the Russians again.

Yes, its not about some border dispute its about the independent existence of Ukraine. Author ignores Putin's 5,000 word essay, posted on the official Kremlin website, that states Ukraine cannot independently exist from Russia.

"Buffer" is a small area of land, Putin trying to conquer Ukraine, a country larger than France is not establishing a "buffer" but an attempt to rebuild an empire.

Trump was Hawkish about Russia in his first term, he talked nice but behind the sweet talk he was building up our forces against them, moving our forces to better positions in Europe, improving our nuclear capabilities, he had American troops in Ukraine training them to fight the Russian invasion and he was giving them the arms that helped save their nation once the invasion was launched.

I will argue that Russia has never historically successfully invaded west of Poland.

WW II divided Germany and allowed creation of the Iron Curtain buffer but that was anomaly.

All of that is true but living memory exists in Russia of the extreme hardships of WW-II. Conditions such that one doesn't want to know too much about what people in the contested areas had to do in order to survive.

Putin reportedly was born in Leningrad not too long after the horrific siege was lifted. Growing up in that environment had to have an effect on him.

When Israeli's say Never Again! they reference events of the same era.

The idea that Russia has been treating Ukraine with kid gloves is not credible. Russia has pushed with everything it has, except for weapons of mass destruction.

Part of the Russian constraints are President Putin’s lack of “buy-in” from the Russian oligarchs who support him. Russia does not have infinite resources, and they are being hurt by the war.

It is a classic stalemate which both sides would be better off ending with a ceasefire.

On the other hand, Ukraine has been under significant constraints from the USA until President Trump took off those restraints when his peace initiative failed.
