It was outside her apartment complex, not just her apartment. Perhaps she lives on the outer edges of the complex, but that is indeed pretty hard. She didn’t die because her dentures traveled beyond the boundary of the apartment complex, it just gives an indication as to just how hard she was hit by this person.
