The mood and image reminded me of how snakes taught me to fly.
In a good way.
I learned back when that I could jump three feet vertical and five feet horizontal at the same time. In the blink of an eye.
A rattler or sidewinder in the desert were easy. The cottonmouth in the swamp was a whole different story. Those vile creatures nest and can swim and hate you.
This latest piece of yours reminded me of the Georgia, Mississippi, and Louisiana swamps. And them damn cottonmouths.
But they taught me to fly.
