Thursday’s Morning Joe spent little time on Anthony Fauci’s actual refusal to answer questions at yesterday's Senate committee hearing, and far more time insisting the real COVID villains were Donald Trump and his “spineless minions.”
Joe Scarborough opened with a puerile stunt, pretending he hadn't seen the hearing, but was sure the Republicans had finally admitted that the president had lied to the American people about the seriousness of the pandemic.
Jonathan Lemire and Mika Brzezinski played along with Scarborough's charade, facetiously informing him that “that’s not quite how yesterday played out,” and accusing Joe of poor show prep. The screencap shows a "shocked" Scarborough throwing his papers in the air at the news.
Scarborough's stunt allowed the hosts to pivot immediately to their preferred narrative: Trump was the villain, and Fauci the heroic truth-teller.

WHY SOMEONE WITH THE IQ OF A DUCK HAS A TV SHOW IS BEYOND ME.
Morning Joe spouts his critic of the Fauci hearing without watching Fauci pleads the 5th Amendment 111 times. The basis of the questioning was from his diary found on the government computer system. Joe never even mentions that fact. Bringing Trump into the criticism, Scarborough fails to mention that Fauci did his shocking actions during the Biden regime.
For that, those on the Morning Joe program should get tapped for a lawsuit.
