Final proof Jesus WAS buried in the Shroud of Turin? New audit by top expert uncovers dossier of irrefutable evidence that will rock any non-believer

The forensic evidence was bloody and grim. Thick clotted blood scored the bruised face of the corpse, from a multitude of deep, needle-sharp wounds.

More dried blood could be seen on the arms, feet and ankles, blood that had oozed from brutal injuries that punched through the bones.

These details, pieced together by successive teams of experts in criminal pathology, are captured in the oldest piece of murder evidence in the world: the Shroud of Turin.

The dead man, powerfully built and naked, must have suffered intense agonies... but he did not bleed to death.

Neither was he killed by the deep stab wound in his left side, close to his heart.

There were other wounds too, savage but not fatal – signs of a beating that began at his shoulders and left welts across his back and thighs.

All of these injuries contributed to his death, but the murder weapon was more gruesome still... gravity itself.

The victim was killed by his own body weight. His name, of course, was Jesus of Nazareth.

In his new book, The Shroud Rises, Australian researcher William West reaches a provocative conclusion: that the Shroud of Turin (pictured) does, beyond question, depict the face and body of Jesus Christ.

West (pictured) believes there to be ten irrefutable proofs that the Shroud is not a fake.

His death, by crucifixion at a public execution in Jerusalem around 33AD, must have been slow and unspeakably painful.

Slumped forward and suspended by his arms, he suffocated on the blood and pleural fluid that accumulated around his lungs.

After his body was taken down from the cross, it was wrapped in a linen cloth.

His blood, still wet, stained the cloth and then, so the faithful believe, the likeness of Christ's corpse was miraculously transferred onto the linen.

The earliest definite historical records show a cloth claiming to...

Those modernists sound like 9th century Catholic monks as far making good Christians. I like to think of them as Benny Hinns with pens.

Can you say “Decretals of Pseudo-Isidore” and “Donation of Constantine”? Bigger scandals than the Vatican Bank money laundering.

What scriptural account is that? Book, chapter, and verses, please.

If a non-believer needs a piece of cloth, a piece of bone, or hair, etc. to make them “believe” then they aren’t ever truly a believer.

Yet, somehow, it does. Be careful to make statements that are too definitive.

Don’t be dismissive of the ways God moves people to believe. If *finding out* something like this was fake would rock their faith you are right. That their faith might be strengthened by knowledge of this is not at all saying the same thing.

You know, I was just thinking to myself, “I wonder what Wikipedia says,” because I consider Wikipedia the unbiased authoritative word on EVERYTHING.

We don’t have the technology today to replicate it.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A fellow named Nathan Wilson out in Idaho duplicated the process back around 2003.
Other than all the money being made from the tourists going to see it, I’m not sure why this controversy is still going on.
Ha!!! Nathan Wilson *magically* discovered the photographic process.
Nathan Wilson (also known as N. D. Wilson) claimed in 2005 to have replicated the image of the Shroud of Turin through a process he called the “Shadow Shroud” hypothesis.
The Method: Wilson, an English teacher and author, proposed that medieval forgers could have created the shroud’s image by painting a positive mask of a human figure on a sheet of glass, placing it over dark linen, and exposing it to sunlight for ten days.
The Result: The sunlight bleached the exposed linen, leaving the painted areas protected and resulting in a negative image that resembled the face on the Shroud of Turin.
Controversy: While Wilson argued this demonstrated how the shroud could be a medieval forgery using available technology, experts like Dan Porter and critics noted that Wilson’s replication lacked the three-dimensional encoding and specific chemical characteristics of the original shroud.
Outcome: Wilson published his findings in Books & Culture magazine, sparking significant debate in “Shroudology” circles, but his hypothesis is generally considered by mainstream researchers to be insufficient to explain the shroud’s unique features, such as its lack of pigment and photo-negative properties
“Well, not to be too technical, but Jews do not embalm their dead. Not now, and not 2000 years ago. Whoever wrote the scriptural account wasn’t Jewish and certainly was not familiar with Jewish burial practices.”
Most people would recognize that I meant preparation.
Okay, so the Biblical account is fiction. What else in the Bible is fictioon?
It’s not. It has been extensively studied and no one has been able to explain how the image was formed. But it’s not paint. That is absolutely known.
This explains how something like an image can be formed. I could describe 20 other ways. The results of this geniuses experiments don’t match a single hallmark of the image on the Shroud.
