Yes, they are.

Someone pointed out in fantasy books when a woman becomes a mother she basicly disappears, especially in books written by women.

Never thought about it but it is true.

Among the women I’ve truly loved, much of my feelings for them centered on their ‘motherly’ or nurturing qualities.
It’s not true that all women despise other women; but jealousy and competition seem more prevalent among women than men. (Men compete, but it’s not with the same feeling as some unpleasant women compete with other females.)
